My biggest inspiration is nature.
My biggest fear is memory loss.
My biggest hope is harmony.
My biggest joy is helping others notice the beauty.
Natalia’s mission as an artist stems from an exploration of interconnectedness, change, and the transformative power of loss. Her work reflects the fragility of life, the inevitability of transformation, and the quiet beauty found in renewal. Working with found and often damaged materials, she gives form to what once seemed lost, creating photography, video, sculpture, mixed media, and painting that speak to resilience and emotional truth. Her intuitive, experimental process draws on symbolism and abstraction, using loss as a gateway to healing and growth.
Her Ukrainian heritage and personal experiences deeply inform her practice. Based in Hertfordshire, Natalia’s art has been featured in exhibitions across the UK, including her 2021 solo show Vanishing Point at the Crypt Gallery, which raised awareness around dementia and grief. She serves as an ambassador for Arts for Dementia and leads monthly creative workshops in St Albans for individuals and families affected by the condition.
Natalia’s philosophy centres on universal energy, resilience, and the belief that destruction is never an end but a passage into transformation. Natural elements—trees, roots, organic textures—symbolise endurance and interconnectedness, while her process of collecting, mending, and reassembling mirrors the reconstruction of life after trauma. Her muted palettes and tactile methods evoke cycles of decay and renewal, echoing the passage of time and layers of human experience.
Her recent project, Letters to Forever (August 2025), supported by Arts Council England in partnership with Cruse Bereavement Support, was an immersive exhibition and workshop series on grief and loss. Featuring over 200 public letters alongside Natalia’s artistic responses, the project sought to broaden how we speak about grief and to create communal spaces for empathy, reflection, and healing. She documented the year-long journey through an A–N blog and contributed research writing to CHWA Stories, Smart Artists Hub, Tebbs Gallery, Better Together Artists, The Two of Us podcast, and others.

Creative Practice in Space
Alongside her artistic practice, Natalia is an Interior Stylist with a Certificate in Residential Interior Design from KLC. A strong visualiser, she interprets proportions intuitively and enhances interiors through thoughtful sourcing and the considered placement of artwork and accessories. With foundation in visual arts, she brings a deep understanding of form, light, and composition to spatial design.
Natalia’s new direction grows naturally from her art: a commitment to creativity in the home, the connection between objects, and the way textures, colours, and forms shape our emotional landscape. She believes that beauty is not ornamental—it is a tool for wellbeing. The placement of a single object, the balance of a shelf, the warmth of natural materials, or the harmony of colour can shift energy, influence mood, and affect how we feel within a space.
This understanding informs her work in sourcing and styling, where she collaborates with brands, photographers, and designers to elevate visuals through carefully curated details and compelling storytelling. Her knowledge of visual culture supports her art consultancy practice, where she advises on selecting, framing, and positioning artwork to transform and unify an interior.
Whether through art, interiors, or creative styling, Natalia’s work remains grounded in one intention: to shape meaningful, beautiful environments that deepen our connection to ourselves and the world around us.
