My mission as a human and as an artist originate from the enquiry into interconnectedness of all living and non-living beings, the flow and the exchange of energy.

I am exploring the changes associated with ageing, the impact of memories on our identity, notions of spirituality, time, the role of nature in improving human well-being and the philosophies of grief. My work aims to remind about the fragility of life, promote grief support and healing practices to encourage post-traumatic growth and emotional health.

My artwork is primarily constructed from materials found on building sites and in nature. Working in a broad range of media, including photography, video, sculpture, mixed media and paint, I aim to give decayed objects a new function and extend their life. I have tactile, instinctive and experimental approach to my creative practice, often working on site. My paintings are intuitive and atmospheric, drawing on symbolism and abstract forms.

I am originally from Ukraine. In 2020 I was invited to become a guest artist at Studio Fridays. My work has been featured in a number of exhibitions and art fairs in the UK. In 2021 I held a solo exhibition Vanishing Point in the Crypt Gallery, London, telling the story of my personal experience of loss and raising awareness about dementia.

I document my work and ideas in the eclectic studio journal.

As part of my research into these subjects, I have been contributing to a number of blogs, including, ‘My Journey from Grief to Art’, CHWA Stories, Smart Artists Hub, Tebbs Gallery, Better Together Artists, the Two of Us Podcast.

I am a member of Visual Artists Association, Studio Fridays, and Artquest and a-n.

I am honored to be an Ambassador for Arts for Dementia - a leading UK charity that provides arts opportunities to people affected by dementia and their carers.

With my work I aim to raise awareness about dementia, foster positive choices that exist in the communities for people affected by dementia and highlight the importance of creative practice for them and their families.

I am currently curating my online fundraising show where 50% of all sales will go to Arts 4 Dementia. To support this good course, please purchase a piece of artwork here.
